Integral Yoga
Integral Yoga® helped pioneer the introduction of Yoga to the western world 50 years ago. Yoga master Swami Satchidananda came to New York and shared his teachings, which promote an easeful body, a peaceful mind, and a useful life. He taught that selfless service and interfaith understanding were essential for a peaceful world.
On October 7, 1966, the Integral Yoga Institute of New York was founded in Manhattan, and in August 1969, Swami Satchidananda’s students traveled west to found the Integral Yoga Institute of San Francisco. Today, there are over 30 Integral Yoga Institutes and Centers on six continents, with international headquarters at Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville® in Virginia, USA.
The Integral Yoga global community includes over 5,000 Integral Yoga teachers—many of whom have become leaders in the changing paradigm of modern Yoga and healthcare, as well as founding successful programs for specific populations.

"THE WOODSTOCK GURU"
This international yoga brand created by "The Woodstock Guru“ has been instrumental in bringing yoga to the West and creating the foundations for the modern yoga movement worldwide.
This film distills the essential teachings of Swami Satchidananda with moving image and animation inspired by the art of Peter Max. It illustrates how this classical form of yoga began, and uncovers the depth of the lineage and the seminal structure that this yoga brand has pioneered.

HOW TO TRANSFORM A HUMAN BEING
Words speak louder when united with pictures. This is potent personal testimony. In marketing, this sort of promo can easily fall flat with traditional interview techniques for eliciting information.
For this Integral Yoga Institute teacher training online promo, we recorded audio interviews only, so that the film could be driven instead by engaging b-roll, all shot in a single day at the yoga studio. The power of the words during interviews with past students, teacher trainers, and people who take the classes, carries the message home.
