Vivalon (formerly Whistlestop) promotes the independence, well-being and quality of life for older adults and people living with disabilities in Marin County.
Vivalon frequently commissions us to create films that support and reveal their key brand services: transportation, nutrition, and social connection. The films inform and inspire potential and current supporters and volunteers, and help to drive donations. From a 9 minute capital campaign film to a 30 second animated commercial, for years we have collaborated with this wonderful nonprofit creating content across platforms and uses. HEALTHY AGING CAMPUS
This film was created for Vivalon’s Healthy Aging Campus capital campaign. It was presented at a high-stake investor meeting to help current and potential donors visualize the project and create an emotional response. This documentary has been repurposed several times, including for City of San Rafael Planning, and will also be used as a public-facing campaign.
The film addresses three key issues that need urgent attention in order for us to provide a future that is safe, vibrant and affordable for the older adults in our community: Affordable housing, isolation & loneliness, and access to medical and supportive services.
It also highlights the potent collaboration between Vivalon and Eden Housing for this important and life-changing venture that supports the older adults in our community.

RUTH MINI DOC

INDEPENDENCE, DIGNITY AND GRACE FOR OUR OLDER ADULTS
Vivalon commissioned us to create 3 mini docs to inspire viewers to connect emotionally to the older adults and people with disabilities in our community, so that they can be celebrated and honored. By portraying three different personalities with three distinctly separate circumstances and needs, we can reveal the three brand services that this incredible nonprofit provides: social connection, transportation and nutrition.
We provided six unique deliverables including a 150 second version to drive awareness and prompt donations during their Q4 fundraising campaign. This four minute version serves as a promo for their brand services.

CAREPOOL ANIMATION 30 SECOND
Vivalon’s CarePool program improves the quality of life of older adults in Marin by helping them get to medical appointments, go grocery shopping, or attend social events. CarePool’s success depends on community support, so we conceived and created a series of animations to explain the need and encourage people to get involved, outlining how easy and rewarding it is to volunteer for CarePool. The animations were used in TV commercial spots, and were the key assets to a social media campaign launched to drive new volunteer signups.

LIFELINE OF LOVE AND FOOD
Rita is fiercely independent. She lost use of her left arm after a stroke and is alone for most of the week. So when the volunteers from Vivalon arrive three times a week to bring her meals and provide connection, it is deeply nourishing on many levels.
